Colonnade Park is where the summer concerts are held for the residents and visitors alike. It is somewhere where you can bring your picnic items, sit back and enjoy the great selection of live bands that are sponsored by our Naples Island Improvement Association.
One of the three islands is known as “Treasure Island”. It boasts some of the most expensive waterfront property in all of South Los Angeles County. It has the only gated area of private homes on Naples Island. Truly these million dollar homes are a sight to be seen. Mothers Beach is the only park in Long Beach that has a beach and park area. It has a large play area for kids and adults.
During the summer months the Naples Island Business Association aka NIBA hosts summer movies under the moon here. It is another great event to enjoy on Naples Island. There are no waves so it is perfect for families to enjoy the great location and weather found in Long Beach.
Naples Island is also very proud to say that we have our very own “Naples Elementary School”. Our school has won several distinguished awards making it receive the top honor of 10 out of 10 per greatschools.org. The school has tennis courts that can be used by the residents of Naples Island and Long Beach. Naples Island has a flourishing business district where you can find award winning restaurants and shopping. Everything is in walking distance. Park your car and forget about it.
Long Beach Yacht Club is also located on Naples Island. They host several events throughout the year. If you have a boat, plan on getting one or just love them in general then this is the place for you to live.
